How is our bike tire pressure calculator made?
Our calculator is a tool that uses different variables and parameters to guide you in your search for bicycle tire pressure and to recommend the pressure that we believe would be the best base. From this base, you will be able to make some adjustments to find the ideal pressure for you and your practice.
There are different calculators online, sometimes very simple (too much?) or maybe too picky for some. We decided to draw a compromise between simplicity and precision and propose you an efficient and easy to use alternative.
We use for this calculation the weight of the rider and his equipment, the type of bike you use, the diameter of the wheels, their width, your experience, the type and difficulty of the terrain...
We then cross this data with the documentation provided by different manufacturers in order to plot averages and obtain a calculator that will guide those seeking to find the tire pressure most suitable for their profile
How to use our tyre pressure calculator for bike?
You just have to select the type of bike you have, fill in your weight + the weight of your bike and some details about its wheels and tires. Your experience and the road/terrain where you ride is asked for a better global understanding of the context in which you practice this sport.
From the pressure we recommend, we encourage you to test and play around with this value to determine the pressure that is best for you. Remember that every rider has their own preferences, there is no general law that can determine in 1 second the optimal configuration for you.

The advantage of using such tires is that they can be less inflated than their friends with tubes. Less inflation allows for better grip without compromising performance. However, be careful not to under-inflate tubeless tires, they need a minimum of pressure to ensure proper positioning and mounting of the tire on the wheel and avoid a problem during the ride.
